Bio:Mauro Moreno, PA-C, is originally from Southern California. He joined Northern Valley Indian Health in 2014 after having worked in other Native American health care facilities since 2001. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Biology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and then took advanced anatomy and physiology courses at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Mauro received his physician assistant training from Western University of Health Sciences and graduated in 2000. He began his career by working in pediatric, gastroenterology and family medicine settings simultaneously for the first year, and then transitioned to family medicine full-time in 2001. Having lived and worked in Butte County since 1998, he enjoys reading, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, camping and just about anything outdoors. Mauro really enjoys assisting people with their health care goals and improving their quality of life.
