PAID TIME OFF
To provide the most flexibility to employees with managing their need to take time off, we provide different types of paid time off to ensure our employees can maintain a positive work-life balance. These benefits include but are not limited to:
PTO: NVIH’s PTO policy combines vacation pay and sick pay, all-in-one. Eligible employees accrue up to four (4) weeks per year to begin.
Jury Duty: NVIH supports eligible staff with their civic responsibilities by offering paid time for attending court due to a jury duty summons.
Bereavement: In the event an employee suffers the loss of a family member, NVIH offers bereavement leave that can be taken within 90 days of the family member’s passing.
PAID HOLIDAYS
The scope of NVIH operations provides daily outpatient services to our community members. Thus, our standard business hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday. Our employees appreciate the ability to leave work without the worry of who is covering the next shift or concern about the personal plans they will miss due to working over the weekend!
In addition to offering its employees a desirable work schedule, NVIH observes fourteen (14) paid holidays per year for eligible staff. NVIH business operations close for observed holidays, allowing staff paid time off to enjoy the holiday however they wish. Holidays observed by NVIH include but are not limited to Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Native American Day where employees are provided time off to honor our Native American brothers and sisters.
