Northern Valley Indian Health’s highly seasoned and experienced Behavioral Health staff provide culturally competent, high-quality treatment services.
Our Behavioral Health providers provide a dynamic range of services to our patients such as psychotherapy, play therapy, and family therapy. We have relationships with some local school districts to support students on campus. Our Behavioral Health team also has an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Program providing one-on-one counseling and follow-up to program participants as well as offering group counseling and substance abuse education.
Behavioral Health services are offered in Chico, Willows and Woodland. School-based services are offered at select schools in our service area. Spanish-speaking clinicians are available.
We strive to respect all people and all cultures. We offer specific cultural services to Native Americans.
Licensed or certified practitioners are available to provide confidential assistance with many areas of living including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, behavior problems, school failure, and family conflict.
Available Behavioral Health services include individual psychotherapy, play therapy, family therapy, sand play therapy, and referrals.
