April Events & Updates

April is officially here and has many exciting things happening this month. April is National Autism Awareness month; stay tuned for helpful articles regarding this important topic. This month, we also have National Public Health Week, which refers to systemic measures that promote health, prevent disease, and prolong life for a nation’s population. Check out our social media platforms for more information. You can follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

We are ready and excited for the warm spring weather which will allow us to do more outdoor events. This month, we will host health fairs in Chico, Willows, Grindstone, and Woodland. We have invited many local entities to participate in our health fairs to help provide resources and educational materials to the public. All patients and community members are welcome to join any of our health fairs to gather helpful information regarding your health, obtain resources to promote healthy living as well as win raffle prizes and get some NVIH swag. We truly enjoy hosting these events; I hope to see you there.

As of April 3rd, masks will no longer be required in our facilities. They are still strongly recommended and will be available for use. If you are experiencing COVID/Flu like symptoms, we ask that you do not enter the clinic but rather call and speak with staff so they can advise you on the next steps. Thank you for your continued understanding.
