November 2007 | Spice-Rubbed Pork Chops

From Better Homes and Gardens New Diabetic Cookbook: Big, meaty pork chops pair well with full-flavored ingredients. This lime and chili powder marinade is just the ticket. Add more or less of the hot pepper sauce to suit your taste.

Pour over chops. Close bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours, turning the bag occasionally. Drain chops, discarding marinade.
  2. Place chops on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until no pink remains and juices run clear, turning once.
