July 2006 | Mango Papaya Salsa
The perfect summer topping for grilled chicken and fish. This recipe is from the RD Test Kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 mango, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1 papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
- Salt (optional) and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
