Ingredients

This traditional Southern combination creates a healthy and hearty dish with a heavenly blend of flavors and surprisingly meaty texture. Serve it with warm corn bread.

Directions

  1. Combine beans, broth, and garlic in a large saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 20 minutes. Add oil and greens and simmer until the greens are wilted another 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and add black pepper and tabasco sauce to taste.
