August 2007 | Fruit n’ Yogurt Parfait
A light and healthy dessert or snack that kids love (adults love it too).
- 32-ounce container nonfat vanilla yogurt, sugar-free (if desired)
- 2 cups or more fresh or frozen fruit of choice, cut into bite sized pieces (recommend peaches or berries)
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
Alternate layers of yogurt and fruit in a clear glass or parfait cup. Sprinkle top of each parfait with 1-2 tablespoons sliced almonds. Yum!
